Jacob Abrahamse is a Canadian tenor who regularly performs throughout North America. A "gifted tenor" and an "impressive Alfredo in ... La Traviata" (Opera Canada), Abrahamse recently completed his first season as an Apprentice Singer at the Santa Fe Opera. In their 2024 season, he performed in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Verdi's La Traviata, Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, and Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier. Handel's Messiah at St. James Cathedral, Toronto, with orchestra and the choirs of St. James and Trinity College. He will then reprise this work in St. Thomas, Ontario, with orchestra and Choral Connection.

He also performed as Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata (Brott Opera). Reviewing this performance, Opera Canada wrote that his “Alfredo was remarkable” and included “particularly stellar passages in his 'De’ miei bollenti spiriti; O mio rimorso!'"
